Patti Murin narrating next Christina Lauren audiobook In A Holidaze

Patti Murin will have a second audiobook coming out this fall.

What’s better than one Patti Murin audiobook? How about the Chicago Med actress narrating two audiobooks that will both be available for One Chicago fans very soon.

Viewers already know that Patti, who recurred as Dr. Nina Shore on Med and also appeared in an episode of Chicago Fire, is lending her voice to an upcoming Jodi Picoult release.

The Book of Two Ways is scheduled to release on Sept. 22. But if that’s not enough for you, there’s something else coming in October!

A new Amazon listing reveals that Christina Lauren’s holiday romance In a Holidaze will also come to listeners courtesy of Patti Murin. The audiobook is available for pre-order now and has a release date of Oct. 10.

The story focuses on Maelyn “Mae” Jones, whose personal and professional lives are stuck in a rut. But after she gets into a car accident leaving the beloved Utah cabin where her family has spent Christmas since she was born, Mae finds herself in a cosmic time loop—re-living the same Christmas over and over again.

Will she finally find what, and who, makes her happy or will she be stuck in a cycle of mishaps and mistakes?

In A Holidaze reunites Christina Lauren with Patti Murin; Patti was previously one of two narrators for Lauren’s novel The Honey-Don’t List. Here’s a clip of her narrating that book, courtesy of Simon & Schuster Audio:

The Honey-Don’t List released to Audible in March, so if you’re keeping score, that means that One Chicago enthusiasts will have gotten three Patti-narrated books this year—and two of them are coming your way in two consecutive months!

That’s fantastic news, and another way the talented people within the One Chicago universe are branching out into some pretty interesting new directions.

While Patti has been on Broadway as the original Princess Anna in Frozen: The Broadway Musical and is recording audiobooks, Garcelle Beauvais has ventured into reality TV and returned to hosting daytime talk shows, and Chicago PD alumnus Anne Heche is about to embark on Dancing with the Stars.

Especially with the three Chicago series not returning until November, this is an excellent time for fans to look beyond the franchise and check out the full range of talents that their favorite stars have to offer. You can pre-order In A Holidaze now on Amazon.
