Brian Geraghty series Big Sky gets ABC premiere date, first video
Here’s when Big Sky will premiere on ABC.
Brian Geraghty’s new TV series Big Sky (formerly called The Big Sky) now has an official premiere date from ABC and its first promos.
The thriller, which stars the Chicago PD veteran as a trucker who is abducting young women along his route, will bow on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 10:00 p.m. on the Alphabet.
The good news for One Chicago fans is that means it won’t conflict with any of the Chicago series, and in fact, will give PD enthusiasts a sort of unofficial programming block as it airs exactly the day before Chicago PD.

Geraghty, who starred as Officer Sean Roman in the One Chicago universe and returned to reprise his role in last season’s crossover with Chicago Fire, portrays the main antagonist Ronald Pergman. Pergman is being pursued by private investigators Jenny Hoyt (Katheryn Winnick, Vikings) and Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury, Law & Order: SVU).
Ronald appears to be an unassuming trucker but is in the prime suspect in the disappearances of multiple young women in Montana.
He also has some family issues, as Valerie Mahaffey (Northern Exposure) has been cast to play his mom Helen. Ronald still lives at home with his mother—although their relationship is described as being “contentious.” Does she have any idea that he’s kidnapping people or is she as in the dark as everyone else?
This week ABC just released new promos for the series ahead of the Big Sky premiere date, which happens less than a week after the Chicago shows return.
