Is Chicago Med season 4 streaming on Netflix? One Chicago fans may wondering if they can catch up with the fourth season on the popular streaming service, since it was the season where a lot of things changed on the show.

The season was a time of turnover for the One Chicago medical drama. It got rid of not one, not two, but three main characters—Dr. Sarah Reese (Rachel DiPillo) left for Texas in the first episode, while Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Ava Bekker (Norma Kuhling) had their last hours as main characters in the season finale.

(It wasn’t their last appearance overall: Though the two actors were released from the show at the end of season 4, they would return in the season 5 premiere to actually wrap up their storyline.)

Meanwhile, a major supporting character was killed off, and a new part of the hospital opened up, creating opportunities for different storylines. Oh, and there was a wedding, but not the one that fans expected.

The show only participated in one of the crossover events this season, though perhaps it already had enough going on in its own sandbox with the cast turnover.

Fans will almost certainly be seeking this season out on Netflix, since so much happened over the course of these 22 episodes. This is a season that they’ll want to rewatch just to make sure they have all the changes straight.

But you won’t be doing it on the most popular streaming platform. NBCUniversal originally gave the streaming rights to this season to Hulu (remember that Comcast, their parent company, owns a stake in Hulu). And now that they have their own streaming service, Peacock, they’ve pulled all of the Med seasons over there.

Be aware: though Peacock offers a free tier, certain seasons and episodes of all the One Chicago series require a subscription. And because the show isn’t airing in syndication anywhere, that’s the best place you have to stream it.

That being said, the amount of money you’d spend for a month’s subscription on Peacock can likely purchase you the season digitally at your favorite retailer (i.e. iTunes or Amazon Video) or on DVD (by clicking the banner below). So you might be better off buying the season, because the cost of watching it once seems to be about the same as owning it forever.
