By Cody Schultz
With September inching closer and closer, NBC has announced its complete schedule for the 2021-22 fall season which includes several returning favorites such as Chicago PD and the One Chicago series and new series that are sure to win over fans.
Of course, the big news for One Chicago fans has been the promise of the new seasons of Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD! All three series will begin their new seasons kicking off on Wednesday, Sept. 22, as NBC looks to return to a more normal schedule.
Beyond the One Chicago dramas, there will be lots for fans to enjoy this fall including new seasons of fellow Dick Wolf series Law and Order: SVU and Law and Order: Organized Crime, both of which will return on Thursday, Sept. 23. And then there’s the network’s exciting new drama, La Brea which will mark the long-awaited return of Jon Seda to the NBC family following his departure from the One Chicago franchise!
La Brea season 1 release date
As previously reported, Jon Seda will return to NBC’s line-up this fall with a lead role in the network’s new fantasy drama La Brea. In the series, Seda will play Dr. Sam Velez, the father of a teenage daughter who is described as carrying himself as an Army general.
The new series was first teased as coming in the fall and we now know La Brea season 1 will premiere Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 9/8c on NBC!
NBC seems to have high hopes for the series in giving it the Tuesday night timeslot behind The Voice, a spot that has been held by This Is Us for five seasons where the Emmy-nominated series performed quite steadily.
With the series airing on Tuesday night, it will also give One Chicago fans yet another show to enjoy during the week on NBC outside of One Chicago Wednesdays and Law and Order: SVU and Organized Crime Thursdays!
