By Cody Schultz
Chicago PD actor Josh Segarra is trading in the Arrowverse for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as part of the cast of one of Marvel’s upcoming Disney Plus original series!
After a turn in the DC Universe as Adrian Chase aka Prometheus in Arrow, Segarra is about to join one of the biggest franchises around with a lead role in Marvel’s She-Hulk series.
As first reported by Deadline, Segarra is the latest to sign on to appear in the highly anticipated Disney Plus series which will introduce Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk into the MCU. He joins an impressive cast that includes Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk), Renée Elise Goldsberry, Tim Roth, Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga and Mark Ruffalo.
Who will Josh Segarra play in She-Hulk?
At this time, Disney Plus and Marvel Studios have not announced who Josh Segarra will be playing in She-Hulk which isn’t surprising. Marvel is notorious for keeping its casting decisions under wraps with the exception of select feature roles, meaning it’s likely we’ll have to wait until closer to the show’s premiere on Disney Plus before the identity of Segarra’s character is revealed.
While we’ll have to wait to see who Segarra will be playing in She-Hulk, it’s definitely exciting to see the former Chicago PD star making his way into one of the biggest franchises in entertainment with his role in She-Hulk!
What has Josh Segarra done since Chicago PD?
Since departing Chicago PD, Segarra has gone on to appear in several series and movies including fellow Dick Wolf-produced drama FBI where he played Special Agent Nestor Vertiz in the show’s third season.
