Chicago Fire season 10: Everything fans want to see next season on Chicago Fire

All summer long, we here at One Chicago Center have been taking a look ahead to Chicago Fire season 10. From speculation over the outcome of the season’s big cliffhangers to what’s next for all of our favorite Chicago Fire characters, there has been a lot to discuss this offseason! However, today, we’re turning things over to our fellow fans!

Last month, we asked fans to tell us what was at the top of their wishlist for their favorite characters in looking ahead to season 10, and boy did they deliver! Fans were quick to reveal their biggest hopes for the season ahead in identifying the storylines they’re hoping the writers might find a way to make happen.

After reading through the various responses to our inquiry, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite wishes from the One Chicago fandom to produce a roundup of wishes related to all of the show’s core characters. (Note: Submissions have been edited for content and clarity.)

What should happen in Chicago Fire season 10, according to the fans

Claudia’s wish: “I wanna see more rescues!!! Lets not get crazy, and kill off a cast member, but more rescues! I wanna see Cruz make bank with the Slamigan.”

Jonathan’s wish: “The return of Peter Mills.”

Allison’s wish: “I would love to see Capp and Tony more!”

Corrina’s wish: “A Stellaride wedding and maybe pregnancy announcement later in the season.”

Jess’s wish: “I’m looking forward to seeing Sylvie and Matt finally being happy, and the best being happy together. I want so much more from my wonderful foursome Stellaride and Brettsey. And of course Stellaride marriage. I want to see a lot of Sylvie and Violet’s wonderful partnership too.”

Jennifer’s wish: “For them ALL to get out of that boat alive!”

Marta’s wish: “Brett and Casey are together and get to stay together —they both need a happy ending. Plus everyone in the cliffhanger from season 9 to get out safely!!”

Steven’s wish: “Three crossovers between all three One Chicago shows. One at the beginning of the season like 3-4 episodes in, then another at the halfway point in the season and then one more at the end with 3-4 episodes left in the season.”

Bobbi’s wish: “Less romance. More nail-biting fire rescue scenes.”

Nicki’s wish: “Boden to become Deputy District Chief, Casey to become Battalion Chief and Stella to become Lieutenant on 81. And all of Squad to survive the incident on the boat.”

Melena’s wish: “I’d like to see Mouch do that trick he did at that training — -the upside-down rescue thing they ‘don’t teach at the Academy anymore.’ I thought that was cool.”

Debbie’s wish: “I would like to see Kelly and Joe survive.  I am so worried about Taylor Kinney leaving the show it’s ridiculous.”

Alison’s wish: “More scenes where Taylor Kinney doesn’t have a shirt on!!”

Janet’s wish: “More action! Maybe an underground fire in the trains, a train derailed, plane crash, sinkhole rescue…. Come on writers.”

Dani’s wish: “I really like to see Peter Mills back…even for one episode! There are so many occasions in season 10 to do so if his schedule allows it!?” (Click here for the scoop on whether Charlie Barnett could be returning as Mills in season 10!)

Beal’s wish: “A baby shower, then Joe and Chloe’s baby to be born and for them to name the baby Brian. Also more Mouch and Herrmann, more Casey and Severide working side by side and Boden staying at 51 at least this season.”

Ashley’s wish: “A WEDDING! For the love of everything, give us a wedding!”
