All summer long, we here at One Chicago Center have been taking a look ahead to Chicago Med season 7. From speculation over the outcome of the season’s big cliffhangers to what’s next for all of our favorite Chicago Med characters, there has been a lot to discuss this offseason! However, today, we’re turning things over to our fellow fans!

Last month, we asked fans to tell us what was at the top of their wishlist for their favorite characters in looking ahead to season 7, and boy did they deliver! Fans were quick to reveal their biggest hopes for the season ahead in identifying the storylines they’re hoping the writers might find a way to make happen.

After reading through the various responses to our inquiry, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite wishes from the One Chicago fandom to produce a roundup of wishes related to all of the show’s core characters. (Note: Submissions have been edited for content and clarity.)

What should happen in Chicago Med season 7

Mezza’s wish: “Would love to see April return! She was a sweet character! So hopefully another character like her.”

Sarah’s wish: “Natalie and April again for one more episode to finish up their storylines just like Connor, Sarah and Ava did.”

Jane’s wish: “More crossover stories with Fire & PD.”

Lill’s wish: “Ethan get better and take back the ED.”

Kevin’s wish: “Will Halstead hopefully learning how to move on from Natalie…(though he probably never WILL pun intended) and don’t get into a relationship with that Sabeena from the trial.”

Margaret’s wish: “Chicago Med with Crockett, what more is there?”

Deb’s wish: “Dr. Rhodes would definitely be a plus and I would like to see Archer gone.”

Briana’s wish: “Hopefully a healthy relationship for Maggie and Vanessa.”

Christopher’s wish: “The return of Dr. Reese.”

Rolivia Fan’s wish: “New female leads I don’t want an all-male cast. We get enough of that with PD. More crossovers with Brett and Violet as paramedics.”

Kathleen’s wish: “Dr. Rhodes back so he and Crockett can team up!”

Jennifer’s wish: “Doctors doing their jobs and taking care of their own patients. If they’re asked to consult, they do. If not, mind your own business. Will NOT jumping into a relationship with any woman who pays him a little attention.”
