Chicago Fire season 10 episode 4 promo, synopsis and photos

Last week on Chicago Fire, Casey (Jesse Spencer) had the chance to catch up with Griffin (Cameron Scott Roberts) following his surprise return in episode 2.

While Casey enjoyed the chance to catch up with Griffin after all these years, he quickly found out things were the best for Griffin or his brother. This seemed to set the stage for Casey to take active steps to once again step in to help look out for the Darden brothers.

Elsewhere in the episode, Mouch (Christian Stout) used an unexpected connection to help Brett (Kara Killmer) get approval for her new CFD program, while Gallo (Alberto Rosende), Ritter (Daniel Kyri) and Violet (Hanako Greensmith) made a significant stride forward in expanding their microbrewery startup.

As you might have guessed, the storyline between Casey and Griffin is going to continue to be a focus for the show with this week’s episode seeing Casey traveling out to visit Griffin and his brother in following through on the promise he made to Griffin before he headed back home.

If the teaser for this week’s episode is any indication, it seems the fourth hour of the season could be a defining moment for Casey as he looks to prevent the brothers from entering the foster system by bringing them home to Chicago to live with him.

While the synopsis for this week’s episode indeed teases Casey’s trip out of town to visit Griffin and Ben, it also happens to provide us with more than a few hints of what’s to come this week for 51’s other beloved characters.

Perhaps the most interesting tease from the episode 4 synopsis is that Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) is going to get the chance to finally spread her wings as a lieutenant. Could this opportunity simply come from Casey’s impromptu trip out of town or is Kidd about to get reassigned to a new house? It seems we’ll have to tune in to find out!

"Kidd spreads her wings as a lieutenant. Chief Hawkins rides with Ambulance 61 to learn more about Brett. Casey takes a trip out of town. A Ritter date night turns into an emergency situation."

Interestingly, NBC has not yet released any images for the fourth episode of Chicago Fire which is off when you consider the network has dropped images for the upcoming fourth episodes of both Chicago Med and Chicago PD. 

It’s possible NBC has not yet dropped images for this week’s episode due to its desire to prevent any spoilers, so perhaps there is a key moment or two the network wants to make fans wait for. Should images for the episode drop before Wednesday night, we’ll update this post. For now, the promo and synopsis will have to hold us over.
