Jesse Lee Soffer reacts to that steamy Upstead Chicago PD finale scene
By Cody Schultz
Heading into the Chicago PD fall finale, the only thing fans could think about was whether Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) would turn Voight (Jason Beghe) into the FBI for the murder of Roy and how they might be able to get themselves out of the precarious situation they ended up in.
So needless to say, we were completely caught by surprise when the finale ended with Halstead and Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) heading to the courthouse for an impromptu wedding and then returning home where they consummated their marriage in what might be one of the steamiest scenes we’ve ever seen in any of the One Chicago series!
If you thought the fall finale featured Upstead love scene was steamy, just wait until you see what Jesse Lee Soffer had to say about the scene that left Upstead fans reeling.

Love scenes are definitely nothing new for One Chicago viewers, but there is no denying that the fall finale’s Upstead scene was one of, if not the, most intense romantic scene we’ve seen as viewers — I mean, we all saw those claw marks!
While audiences might view the scene as intense, surprisingly, Jesse Lee Soffer is taking audiences for their word telling US Weekly, “I don’t have time for TV, so if you tell me it was intense, then OK. It was intense.”

As Soffer explained, when you’ve been working with a scene partner for as long as he has been working with Spiridakos and have experience working in daytime soaps, those more intimate scenes eventually become second nature.
“We’ve been playing partners and love interests for so long, that it’s second nature. Also, I was on a soap for a while and she’s worked a ton! It’s like, ‘All right, sex scene? Got it.’ It’s been easy. She’s a great scene partner to have.”
