The 2022 schedule for One Chicago has been hectic. There have been unplanned breaks due to COVID and planned breaks due to the Winter Olympics, which has made it tough for fans to know just when new episodes are going to air.

Thankfully, NBC has released the official date for when Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD are set to wrap up their respective seasons. This not only gives fans time to mark their calendars, but ensures that we will be getting a steady stream of new episodes in the next few weeks.

Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming One Chicago finale schedule.

When is the Chicago Fire season 10 finale?

As confirmed by TV Line, the slate of One Chicago shows are going to air their finales on May 25. They will be aired in succession following their normal timeslots, which means that Med, Fire and then PD will conclude.

The scheduling of these shows make sense, given that NBC confirmed each season would get 20 episodes. The One Chicago slate are currently on their 17th episode, meaning that there will be plenty of exciting developments and storylines packed into the next three.

Unfortunately, the May 25 release date also means that there will be additional breaks over the next two months. If the One Chicago shows were to air weekly from April 6 onward, the shows would be wrapped by April 27.

The several weeks delay is most likely caused by COVID, which has hampered the production of countless shows since 2020. The showrunners and producers have not discussed any setbacks as a result of the pandemic, but earlier this year, both Chicago Fire and Chicago PD had to shut down production due to a string of positive COVID tests.

The bright side, of course, is that fans are getting more episodes than they did in 2020-2021, and the extra time taken by the cast and crew ensures that the utmost attention is being paid to the quality of each show.
