It’s that time of year when we look out for finale dates. CBS was the first big network to set finale dates, but now NBC has followed suit. All the current shows on the network are coming to an end in May, and that includes Chicago Fire.
Right now, we have no idea what to expect in the Chicago Fire season 10 finale. We’re certainly hoping for good news for some of the characters. Maybe even a wedding. We’d also love to see Jesse Spencer return after he left the series in the 200th episode.
Chicago Fire season 10 finale date in 2022
NBC has set the date for the Chicago Fire season 10 finale. It’s around the time that we all expected. Get ready for the show to come to an end for another season at the end of May.
According to TVLine, all three One Chicago shows will end on Wednesday, May 25. This is the big finale week and matches CBS with its FBI Tuesday finale dates.
What does this mean about breaks still to come? Well, there is at least one more break to arrive, but we don’t know when it will be just yet. There just aren’t enough weeks for the number of episodes left in the season to run through to May 25 without a break.
Episode 17 airs on Wednesday April 6. If there wasn’t a break, it would mean the show would have 23 episodes this season. We’ve not seen 23 episodes to a season before, even without pandemic delays. We could see 22 episodes, which would mean just a one-week break, or we could see the season come in with 20-21 episodes, which means a two- or three-week break to come. NBC isn’t all that open about upcoming breaks.
