Chicago PD season 9 episode 19 spoilers: Fool’s Gold

Last week on Chicago PD, we finally got the chance to see Halstead take center stage once again in an episode that saw him taking a new recruit under his wing for Intelligence’s latest investigation.
It proved to be a trying take as the recruit wasn’t exactly forthcoming about his background and he wasn’t exactly the most talkative person in the room, having clearly built up some walls in his past. Ultimately, the recruit showed some real promise which has some already asking if he could soon become a regular member of the team.
This week, it seems it’s Atwater’s time to step into the spotlight in an episode that will find him taking point and searching for answers. Just what can you expect this week?

Chicago PD season 9 episode 19 synopsis
As teased in this week’s promo, episode 19 will find the Intelligence Unit working to uncover the truth behind a wealthy man’s murder. At the heart of the investigation will be Atwater, who seems to have been one of the first on the scene and will be making it his mission to get to the bottom of the man’s death.

"After the murder of a wealthy Chicago man, Atwater and the team dig in to uncover the truth, suspecting there is more to the story than meets the eye."
