Molly Burnett is a TV staple. The actress is perhaps best known for her starring role on Queen of the South and her recurring role on Days of Our Lives. The latter earned her multiple award noms, including three Daytime Emmys.

In addition to her primetime career, Burnett has made several guest appearances on other shows like True Blood and CSI: NY. Now, she can add Chicago PD to her resume. The actress played a big role in the recent PD episode “Fool’s Gold“, where she played a gunshot victim.

Here’s what you need to know about Burnett’s character on Chicago PD.

Who plays Raquel on Chicago PD?

The actress played a woman named Raquel. At least, that’s what her name appeared to be. She was found with a gunshot wound after someone broke into her home and killed her husband. She played ignorant about the identity of the suspect, but the longer Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) took a look at the evidence, the less things added up.

Eventually, it was discovered that Raquel was an alias for the character, and she actually had lots of different ID’s and passports with different names. While it initially seemed like she had them as a means of thwarting the police (Voight and the rest of the IU thought she may have directly led to her husband’s death), it turns out that Raquel had a better reason.

In a scene that’s devastatingly played by Burnett, the character reveals that she had been stalked by a psychotic ex-boyfriend for years, and that she had been forced to change her identity several times over. The ex-boyfriend apparently tracked her down and forced her to give him the security code to get into her home. He subsequently killed her husband.

In the end, the character is able to rest easy and move on from her past. Burnett is not going to be appearing in any future episodes of the show, given the quick resolution, but she will definitely go down as one of the most memorable guest stars of the season.
