Is Chicago PD season 10 coming in 2022?

Chicago PD season 9 came to a close on May 25 in what was quite the intense and jaw-dropping finale! Across the finale, two members of the Intelligence had close calls, while two other key players from this season died in shocking fashion.

Following the shocking conclusion to the episode, fans have already begun counting down the days until the show’s return with their curiosity piqued over when exactly the next season will be coming.

So when exactly might that be?

Chicago PD season 10 will return in fall 2022

NBC has confirmed Chicago PD will return for its tenth season this fall as part of its Wednesday night line-up. Considering the One Chicago dramas continue to rank among the most-watched NBC programs, it’s not surprising NBC will look to keep the magic going by continuing its One Chicago Wednesdays again this fall.

Traditionally, NBC tends to kick off its fall seasons during the final weeks of September which is when we expect season 10 will premiere. Most likely, the new season will kick off on Wednesday, Sept. 21, or Wednesday, Sept. 28, but we’ll have to wait until NBC announces its fall premiere dates to know for sure.

What we do know is that Chicago PD will once again cap off One Chicago Wednesdays in the night’s closing hour.
