At the start of the season, Pryma made it clear that he didn’t like Severide. Firefighters and police have different views about criminal informants. Although, maybe that’s because the dirty cop who became a CI affected Severide and Kidd directly. That’s always going to cause Severide to lash out.

Well, Pryma hasn’t had a chance to step away from working with Severide. After turning up a few episodes ago, he’s back again. This time, he’s dealing with a string of explosions in Chicago and he needs to get to the bottom of them. Severide is somehow going to be able to help, and it looks like it’s linked to one of the calls.

Firehouse 51 is called out to a bus that could potentially explode. If that happens, the whole block goes down. At least, that’s Severide’s opinion on the matter.

Brett jumps back into dating in Chicago Fire season 11, episode 8

Meanwhile, Violet wants Brett to jump back into dating. She thinks it will be good for Brett but is Brett actually ready for it? It’s not been that long since she decided to break up with Casey. It’s not even like something bad happened between them. Brett still loves Casey but she couldn’t make their long-distance relationship work.

There’s nothing wrong with Brett taking some time for herself. Can we stop pushing the narrative that people need to be date to be able to move on from an ex? It’s a dangerous narrative for everyone.

While all that happens, we’ll see Carver and Gallo clash. Yes, it’s because Gallo improvises on a call. We know what Gallo is like, and so does Kidd. Carver doesn’t like it, though. A lot of people don’t the first time.
