Stella Kidd and Truck 81 put their lives on the line in a call in Chicago Fire season 11, episode 9. Take a look at the Chicago Fire spoilers.
It’s time for the Chicago Fire season 11 fall finale. After taking a two-week break, we’re back with this last episode of 2022, and you won’t want to miss out.
As with any fall finale, we’re expecting a big cliffhanger ending. The promo for the episode seems to hint at what the cliffhanger could be. It looks like Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) is going to head into a dangerous situation that involves a grenade in someone’s leg.
Meanwhile, someone is coming back. Who could it be? Could this be the cliffhanger, setting off trouble for any pairings?
Chicago Fire spoilers: 11×09 promo
Take a look at the promo for the episode first. It gives us a look at one of the calls, which sees the bomb squad in a house. It turns out that a patient has a grenade stuck in their leg, and this patient cannot be moved just yet. The grenade could go off at any point.
This is a dangerous situation for Firehouse 51. You can see Kidd and other members of Truck 81 suiting up ready for this grenade to potentially go off. Severide (Taylor Kinney) is on the outside, and he is ready to run into the building if he needs to. Of course, that will be against orders, but this is his wife in the building that could explode.
Chicago Fire spoilers: 11×09 synopsis
The synopsis for the fall finale gives us a few more details. Severide is dealing with the aftermath of helping Detective Pryma in the Martucci case. Of course, this wasn’t ever going to be completely over for him.
Gallo (Alberto Rosende) will bring us what could be the humorous storyline for the episode. The National Firefighter’s Association’s Winter Conference is coming up. He wants Herrmann (David Eigenberg) to represent Firehouse 51 at the event. Herrmann is a great firefighter, but we know he doesn’t always like to be in the limelight. However, he is a great person to turn to for advice, and it does make sense that Gallo wants Herrmann to be 51’s representative of this.
The end of the synopsis tells us a surprising face is coming back. Will we get to see Casey? How about someone from Severide’s or Kidd’s past? There isn’t much to work with when it comes to this line.
"Severide struggles with the cost of helping Det. Pryma with the Martucci case; Gallo campaigns for Herrmann to represent 51 at the National Firefighter’s Association’s Winter Conference; a familiar face makes a shocking return."
This is the last episode of 2022. Get ready for the show’s return in January 2023.
