There’s a lot going on in the world of Chicago Fire this week, and it looks like a couple is getting together. You just have to love Brett’s (Kara Kilmer) face in the promo for the episode as Violet (Hanako Greensmith) and Gallo (Alberto Rosende) kiss. Are the two getting together?
This could be linked to the synopsis for the episode. It turns out that Violet has an unwanted admirer. There’s an annoying floater at Firehouse 51 who takes a liking to her, and all she’ll want is to find a way to get rid of him. The best way for a lot of women is to say we have a boyfriend, and Gallo will be more than willing to fill that role for the time being. She shouldn’t have to do this, but we all know some men can’t take “no” for an answer.

Chicago Fire spoilers: 11×14 promo
The promo gives us a look at two of the storylines, with the first being that Violet and Gallo kiss. The other storyline involves Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) and Carver (Jake Lockett). Kidd tried to help Carver when the guy’s brother came to town, but Carver ended up snapping at her. Now she thinks that Carver isn’t right for 51, but she needs Severide to step in with Boden for her.

Chicago Fire spoilers: 11×14 synopsis
Take a look at the synopsis for the episode. This touches on a couple of other things going on. One of those is about Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Mouch (Christian Stolte). Mouch’s wife, Trudy (Amy Morton), needs their help with an arson investigation. This isn’t too surprising. When you have an arson case, Severide is the one to turn to, and I’m looking forward to more Trudy and Mouch on screen.
Then there’s Ritter (Daniel Kyri), who will find a local politician in a compromising position. Just how compromising? Is this going to open the door for a relationship for Ritter? Is this the humorous storyline of the week?

The images for the episode give us a look at one of the calls, which is in the promo. It’s a young boy with his hand trapped, and the firefighters will want to find a way to save his hand if they can.
There is also a look at Herrmann (David Eigenberg) and Cindy (Robyn Coffin) as their storyline continues. This has been such a hard watch for the two of them.
