Carver faces the consequences of his actions in the previous episode. Here are the Chicago Fire spoilers for season 11, episode 21.

Considering the way Jake Lockett’s character, Carver, was introduced as a bit of a threat to Kidd, there’s no way we expected to fall in love with him as much as we have done. He proves that people can change, and we’ve had a chance to see that over the course of the season.

In the most recent episode, he protected Kidd from her stalker. Sadly, it all went wrong with the cops turning up late and not listening to anything that anyone was saying. Now Carver is in handcuffs, and his career is on the line.

The promo makes it clear that Carver is facing a lot of trouble. The DA wants to up this to felony assault, which means a big jail sentence and the end of his career. Kidd wants to do everything she can to help him knowing that he only did it to protect her. Is there anything she and Boden can do to help Carver right now?

Chicago Fire spoilers: 11×21 synopsis

The synopsis gives us a few more details of storylines for the episode. There is another one that will connect to the previous episode. Brett wants closure when it comes to the baby that she and Violet saved in the previous episode. The young mom opted to deliver the baby to the safety box at the Firehouse. It’s a Safe Haven so she can’t be prosecuted, but that doesn’t mean Brett is happy about the way things went.

Is this opening up a storyline of her adopting this baby? It certainly seems that way.

Meanwhile, the humorous storyline is sure to be with Capp. He manages to get into the Firehouse 51 group chat. Why wasn’t he there anyway? I guess we’re going to find out soon enough.
