FBI: International introduced a new agent to the mix when the Fly Team was sent to find a family involved in the murder of one of their sons. However, she isn’t all that she appears to be. Who is Agent Riley Quinn?

Guest star Veronica St. Clair made her debut when she was investigating the homicide of a six-year-old boy named Dillon, whose family had gone on the run with their other son, Liam. It was their stepdad who was accused of the murder and it was up to the Fly Team to bring him into custody before he could flee to Syria.

Quinn has a past with Agent Mitchell

A Leader, Not a Tourist
“A Leader, Not a Tourist” – The Fly Team is introduced to Supervisory Special Agent Wesley “Wes” Mitchell (new series regular Jesse Lee Soffer) when his partner is shot in Los Angeles and the suspects flee to Budapest, sending Mitchell overseas, on the fourth season premiere of FBI: INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday, Oct. 15 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential

Quinn was an agent in Baltimore field office before she was sent to join the team so they could help her track down the suspects and bring the boy home. Before going to join the team, Quinn was instructed by Section Chief Dave Zaleski to join the team to keep an eye on Agent Wes Mitchell. She has been told to bring him down otherwise her brother will be in trouble for a crime he was accused of, despite maintaining his innocence.

There’s no reason given for why Zaleksi plans to go after Mitchell. Despite this, Quinn goes to meet the team, even though it’s clear she still has reservations about the investigation.

While with the team, Vo takes Quinn under her wing to show her the ropes. From all appearances, Quinn is learning as she goes but is unable to find anything to report on Mitchell. Despite telling the Deputy Chief this, he orders her to look into his previous investigations.

Quinn could potentially join the team for good

The Kill Floor
“The Kill Floor” – A member of the Fly Team goes missing as the hunt for Greg Csonka continues in Paris. Meanwhile, Vo’s life hangs in the balance after being shot, on FBI: INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday, Jan. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. Mitchell learns that headquarters is impressed with her work and wants her to stay with the team. He offers her a position and is looking forward to working with her in the future. Of course, Mitchell has no idea she has actually been tasked with investigating him.

Could this lead to Quinn deciding not to go after Mitchell and become a permanent member of the team? She does seem to have reservations about looking into him, especially seeing how well he did in tracking down the family to reunite Liam with his biological father.

Since the show did recently say goodbye to a team member in Jay Hayden’s Tyler Booth, could they be adding someone else to the mix? Whether this will be a permanent position for Quinn, depending on what happens with the investigation into Mitchell.

New episodes of FBI: International airs Tuesdays at 9/8c.
