While there won’t be a new episode of FBI until Tuesday, March 11, we do have a preview of what is coming up next. The promo after the last episode of the series showed OA and his girlfriend, Gemma, traveling on a train that put them in danger. What do we know about the next episode?

TVLine had some details about the episode, including photos that showed OA and Gemma (Comfort Clinton) among passengers in danger when the train is hijacked on their way to Canada. The episode, which bears the title “Hitched” will follow the FBI team’s attempts to stop the hijacking while OA also tries to figure out how he can help, despite not having what he needs to save the day.

Maggie and Scola will race to save them

With OA in danger, this will likely mean Maggie is working with Scola as they race to rescue their colleague and everyone else on board. We didn’t see Maggie in the last episode, which focused on Scola as he learned horrific news about some staff members at the military school he attended in his younger years.

Scola has not had his own partner yet, although it is expected that we will see a new face in actress Emily Alami at some point in the season. The different team dynamics are fun to watch and we’re sure it will be no different, especially when they are aware a friend and colleague is also in danger.

We have seen personal scenes between OA and Gemma showing them work on communication in their relationship. OA previously had a hard time opening up about his past and work life. But now Gemma will have an up-close look at the kind of work OA does when people are in danger.

FBI will be going on hiatus until March 11

Perfect
“Perfect” – The team is called in to track down a serial killer after the bodies of multiple women with the same physical description are found scattered across the city. Meanwhile, Maggie juggles her roles as a guardian to Ella and an FBI agent, on FBI, Tuesday, Dec. 3 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).

Even though we’re in for a long wait, we’re excited to see how OA handles a situation like this when he is not in uniform. Putting characters in danger when they are otherwise off work is something fans love to see on television since it gives them a different look at them in action and how they solve a situation they could otherwise take care of if they were on the clock.

This episode already sounds exciting, but why is there a break in the episodes? CBS will be airing The Price Is Right at Night during FBI’s normal run just before the airing of the Presidential Address to the Joint Session of Congress. So this means all three FBI shows will be on hiatus until Tuesday, March 11.

Wile waiting for the new episode to arrive, you can catch up on previous episodes of the season on Paramount+.
