A helicopter crash coming in Grey's Anatomy season 21, episode 5? (Preview)

You would think that Lucas Adams would avoid helicopters and planes from Grey Sloan Memorial, but nope! It looks like he’ll be involved in a helicopter crash in Grey’s Anatomy season 21, episode 5.

Grey’s Anatomy doesn’t have a good track record for planes and helicopters. The season 8 finale brought us a devastating moment with a plane crash. Considering it involved his Uncle Derek and Aunt Meredith, you would think that Lucas would stay away from a helicopter.

But no! He’s going to be on a helicopter in a storm with Levi. They’re transporting a young girl who fell off a tractor and needs extensive work. Will they survive?

Relationship drama and a helicopter incident in Grey’s Anatomy season 21, episode 5

There are a few things going on in the episode, with the helicopter situation being the most pressing. Levi and Lucas head out on a helicopter. A young girl needs transporting after falling off a tractor. Lucas notes that her leg may need to be amputated, but there’s something more serious going on. They are flying in a storm, and the pilot will need to do everything she can to land safely.

Meanwhile, there’s some relationship drama going on. We’ll get to see more from Owen and Teddy, as they try to work on their marriage. Things haven’t been too bad for the two of them lately, so what are they working on? Maybe this is to show that good marriages will always have couples working to be better together each day. Of course, these two can be a little toxic at times, so it’s likely something that’s happened—or not happened!

Then there’s Bailey, who will work with Blue and Link in the new episode. They need to treat a hospital employee. There are no signs in the promo as to who they’ll be working on. Could it end up being linked to the hospital crash, or something completely different?
