Chicago Fire, Med, and PD won’t be back until 2025, but here’s how you can catch up beforehand

The One Chicago shows are taking a long winter break, but it's never been easier to catch up on Chicago Fire, Med and PD!

Wednesday might have arrived, but sadly there won’t be any new episodes of NBC’s One Chicago shows coming viewers way this evening.

On Nov. 20, the One Chicago shows closed out the year with their final episodes of 2024 courtesy of the fall finales of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD. This year, NBC decided to air the fall finales a bit earlier than in past seasons which means fans are in for a long break during the holiday season. This is in part due to the combination of paving the way for special holiday programming and sending the shows on break during a time of year when viewers turn to holiday fare or turn their TVs off entirely to enjoy holiday festivities with friends and family.

The good news is that the One Chicago shows will be back on Wednesday, Jan. 8 with a night of winter premieres and the greater news is that it’s never been easier to catch up on the seasons before their returns!

Regardless of whether you’ve watched every episode of the current seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD and simply want to enjoy a rewatch from the start, or are looking to catch up on the current seasons after falling behind, it is easy to enjoy the latest seasons of the One Chicago shows courtesy of Peacock!

Peacock is the exclusive streaming home to every season of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD including the three shows’ current seasons. Through a Peacock subscription, fans can watch the first eight episodes of Chicago Med season 10, Chicago Fire season 13, and Chicago PD season 12 whenever they’d like using their mobile devices and Smart TVs for as low as $8 a month!

Of course, if you’re like me and don’t exactly enjoy having to watch ads, it might be preferable to spend an extra $6 monthly to go with the Premium Plus plan which is ad-free. This makes it easy to binge-watch the first eight episodes of any of the One Chicago shows without having to deal with ads and can shorten your binge-watch given you won’t have to factor ads into your watch.

Regardless of how you choose to watch, you’ll definitely want to be caught up by the time the shows return in January as the winter premieres promise to kick off the new year with a bang! And with such a long break ahead, there is more than enough time to catch up before Jan. 8 rolls around!
