Just days after dropping the first promo for the upcoming seasons of Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD, NBC has debuted the first official key art for the season! As is always the case, we’ve got a new poster for each show as well as a joint One Chicago branded poster for the new seasons, and the new posters bring together all of our favorite characters from the three One Chicago shows, putting them each front and center.
Surprisingly, the Chicago Fire poster includes two characters we did not think would make the cut given their forthcoming exits at the top of the season. We’re, of course, referring to Dermot Mulroney and Joe Minoso, who both are featured in the new Chicago Fire season 15 poster among the rest of the show’s returning ensemble.
Given that we’ll be bidding farewell to Pascal and Cruz early in the season—Mulroney is expected to exit the show after the first episode, while Minoso is slated to exit within the first few episodes of the season—we fully expected that the two characters would not be included on the poster. This is because NBC has a tendency not to include departing cast members on the new One Chicago posters. For example, the season 14 poster did not include Daniel Kyri, who was confirmed to exit early in the season.
It’s certainly nice to see Cruz and Pascal featured in one final poster, but their inclusion in the poster makes it even more puzzling that NBC decided to leave out an actor who will be playing a bigger role than both Mulroney and Minoso this season: Da’Vinchi.

While the poster features all of the core returning cast members, including Taylor Kinney (Kelly Severide), Miranda Rae Mayo (Stella Kidd), David Eigenberg (Christopher Herrmann), Christian Stolte (Mouch), Hanako Greensmith (Violet Mikami), Jocelyn Hudon (Lizzie Novak), and Brandon Larracuente (Sal Vasquez), it fails to feature the show’s newest series regular with Da’Vinchi MIA on the poster.
Considering Da’Vinchi’s casting was announced ahead of filming and he’s been on set filming season 15, indicating his introduction will come at the start of the season, it’s quite interesting that NBC opted not to feature his character Marcus Burke on the Chicago Fire season 15 poster. We’ve seen other new additions make their official debut in the season’s key art ahead of making their debuts in the shows, so it’s puzzling that this is not the case for Da’Vinchi.
The one thing we have to wonder is if perhaps NBC might release a second poster a few weeks into the season that removes Pascal and Cruz and incorporates Burke. Hopefully, that might be the case, as we’d love to see Da’Vinchi added to the key art even if it does mean the new art will be without Pascal and Cruz.
