We already discussed this one on the list of bad Chicago Fire romances, and the same points apply here. Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) was looking for something serious, something long term, and Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) simply wasn't. The former took the relationship way more serious than the latter, which made it difficult to watch.

Dawson's flippant attitude towards Brett, especially towards the end of their relationship, did not leave the best taste in the mouth of viewers. Ironically, Brett is set to marry Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer), the ex-husband of Dawson's younger sister. Small world.
