Sean Roman (Brian Geraghty) never really clicked with Chicago PD fans. The point of the character was to make him unlikable from the jump, then gradually make him more sympathetic, but the writers did too good a job with the former and not good enough of a job with the latter.

Roman's romance with Burgess feels born out of trauma bonding, and just as things start to get serious between them, Roman decides to quit the force and move to San Diego. He asks Burgess to come with him, and all we can say is that we're happy she didn't.
