Chicago Fire may not be in a rush to write Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) off the show, but we are getting closer and closer to the episode in which she will marry Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and leave the 51 behind.

The character is still stuck on which Chicago venue will best suit her wedding, and Kara Killmer has made it clear that the quest for the perfect wedding dress is still ongoing! The actress hopped on social media to dazzle fans with six (!) different dress options to consider.

It's a pretty fun way to incorporate the opinions of fans, and it gives Killmer a chance to show off the different directions that her character could go in when it comes to what she will be wearing. Killmer went as far as to urge fans to vote on which dress they like the most:

"Ok, wedding planners! Traditional/Vintage theme plus a wedding cake dessert! Now for the dress! Drop your vote in the comments."

This sense of uncertainty also lines up with the way the character has felt during the first couple episodes of season 12.

She's thrilled to be marrying the love of her life, but she's also caught between planning a major event (largely on her own) while carrying out a job that can be very demanding.

Chicago Fire showrunner Andrea Newman talked to NBC about the struggles Brett will face in her final season, and the ways in which they will force the character to dig deeper than ever before:

"[Sylvie's] got a lot on her mind. When we see her, we'll see that she has a lot of plans in place. And, um, not all of them will go accordingly."

Things rarely go according to plan on Chicago Fire, but that's part of the fun. We know that Brett will overcome whatever struggles she encounters, and that her and Casey will live happily ever after in Oregon, but it sounds like it's going to be a bit of a struggle to get there.
