While the synopsis puts some focus on this storyline, it’s not the only one for the episode. We also get a look at two other characters who will get some more attention.

The first is Herrmann, who gets a new recliner. He’s looking for the perfect spot for his recliner, which is sure to be the comedic relief that the episode is going to need.

Gibson will also get some time as we learn more about him. It’s clear that he has a past that he doesn’t want others to know about. Despite being a successful boxer, he didn’t want anyone at Firehouse 51 knowing about that. It came out when a civilian recognized him. That’s led to some questions about why he would hide something like that.

Could he just want to keep his private life private until he gets to know people? Is there something more to his past? It looks like something is about to come out.
