Grey's Anatomy taps A Million Little Things vet in a role connected to Owen Hunt
Are you ready for another blast from the past for Owen Hunt in Grey’s Anatomy? Well, there is something to come in season 21.
Floriana Lima from A Million Little Things will enter the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial this fall. Whether she’ll actually see Owen there or not is another thing. After all, season 20 ended with multiple doctors being fired, including Owen Hunt. This could mean Lima’s character turns up for his help only to find out that she needs to see a different doctor.
Known to A Million Little Things fans as Darcy Cooper, a love interest for Gary before he and Maggie finally got back together, Floriana Lima will enter the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial as Nora, a childhood friend of Owen and Meghan Hunt.
Nora will come in needing help to fix a botched surgery from another hospital. The Hollywood Reporter shares that Nora went to another hospital for routine surgery, only to find out that something went wrong. Now her life is on the line, and there is one doctor she can trust to get to the bottom of the situation. She needs Owen Hunt.
Will Owen be at the hospital? That’s not clear, but Nora is there and ready to fight for her life. She’s recently divorced with a kid, and she wants to make sure she lives to face the next chapter of her life.
When will Floirana Lima appear in Grey’s Anatomy?
Lima is set to appear in the Thursday, Oct. 3 episode. That’s the second episode of Grey's Anatomy season 21.
It’s not clear how many episodes she will be in. With the way the storyline is suggested, it doesn’t look like a surgery that will be done within an episode. Now and then, we have storylines that take two or three episodes, showcasing how long it can take to get a diagnosis and solve the problem at hand.
The first episode, which will air on Thursday, Sept. 26, is set to pick up off the back of the season 20 finale. A lot of jobs are on the line, including Bailey’s after she chose to stand up for her interns as Katherine Fox decided to go after them.
