We get another look at Boden’s personal life in Chicago Fire season 12, episode 4. This is not an episode you’ll want to miss live tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 7.

It’s important to note that this is the last new episode for at least two weeks. There isn’t going to be a new episode on Wednesday, Feb. 14. This could be just due to Valentine’s Day and NBC choosing not to risk airing new episodes when couples are likely to enjoy date night. We’re not yet sure if it’s just a one-week break, or if this is needed due to returning in January and only having 13 episodes to air.

What to expect in Chicago Fire season 12, episode 4

Boden’s personal life comes up in the new episode. His stepson James, who we’ve met in earlier seasons, will come asking for help. Don’t worry if you feel like you’ve forgotten him. James hasn’t been seen since the fifth season, and Boden is no longer married to his mother. James is coming to Boden for help involving his mother, though.

Meanwhile, Firehouse 51 will be called to a housefire. Gibson realizes that this house has had mini fires started recently. This is far too much to be a coincidence, so the firehouse looks into it. When Kidd realizes that a little girl may be starting the fires, she and her guys will need to look into why she’s doing it.
