What happened this week in One Chicago history? Here are the moments from Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med past in the week of April 2-8.

While we enjoy the current week in One Chicago, we’re also looking back into what happened this week in One Chicago history.

These are the important dates in Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago PD and Chicago Justice past that you might remember. And if you don’t, we’ve got a refresher.

This week’s milestones include multiple episode premieres, an almost equal number of repeats, and the birthday of someone whose One Chicago connection you might have forgotten.

Here’s what happened this week in One Chicago history:

More from One Chicago Center

April 2, 2014: The Chicago PD season 1 episode “At Least It’s Justice” premieres.

Four years ago today Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) almost lost his badge in this Chicago PD episode, while his future girlfriend Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush) had a “moment” with Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney). It wasn’t a good week if you’re a Halstead fan.

April 2, 2017: The Chicago Justice season 1 episode “Double Helix” premieres.

Last year on this date we learned a whole lot more about DNA evidence than we ever wanted to in a tough episode of Chicago Justice involving a serial killer (William Forsythe, who had previously starred with Jesse Lee Soffer in The Mob Doctor) and his equally disturbing daughter. Revisit this episode here.

April 3, 2013: The Chicago Fire season 1 episode “Ambition” premieres.

Five years ago this week, Chicago Fire introduced us to paramedic candidate Tara Little (Brooke Nevin). It wouldn’t be long before it was clear that Tara wasn’t quite right. But at least we were getting closer to the grand opening of Molly’s—and Dawson and Casey were getting closer—in this episode!

April 4, 2017: The Chicago Fire season 5 episode “Take A Knee” premieres.

In this episode three years after “Ambition,” there was another newbie on the paramedic team. There was still trouble for Dawson (Monica Raymund), but at least it wasn’t the crazy kind of trouble. Maybe we ought to just avoid assigning anyone new to the ambulance for awhile?

April 5: Chicago Med recurring guest star Marc Grapey celebrates a birthday.

Actor Marc Grapey, who plays hospital attorney Peter Kalmick, has a birthday this week. He’s the One Chicago character we don’t like seeing, because he never brings good news, but Grapey plays him so well. Happy birthday, Marc!

April 5, 2016: The Chicago Fire season 4 episode “On The Warpath” premieres.

Two years ago Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) witnessed a murder. But at least that brought her into the orbit of future boyfriend Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda)?

April 5, 2016: The Chicago Med season 1 episode “Us” premieres.

The same night that Brett was working with future love interest Antonio, April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta) met her future fiancee Tate (guest star Deron J. Powell) in this Chicago Med episode. Their relationship would ultimately end late in the second season.

April 5, 2017: The Chicago PD season 4 episode “Last Minute Resistance” premieres.

The best episode of Chicago PD season 4, and one of the show’s best ever, premiered this week with Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati)’s sister the victim of a terrible crime. The plot of this episode was revisited in this season’s “Sisterhood.”

April 6, 2016: The Chicago Med season 2 episode “CTRL ALT” premieres.

The hospital was hacked two years ago this week. Considering that we already know that the hospital is going into lockdown tomorrow, maybe the first week of April is just not a good time to be anywhere near Chicago Med.

April 7, 2015: The Chicago Fire season 3 episode “I Am The Apocalypse “premieres.

It was three years ago that we were introduced to the doctors of Chicago Med in this backdoor pilot that aired as part of Chicago Fire. While this episode didn’t have the entire cast (there were cast changes after it aired), we got our first glimpse at the hospital and some of the characters we now know and love.

It wasn’t a great episode for Kelly Severide, though, as he wound up going from firefighter to the victim of the week:

April 8, 2014: The Chicago Fire season 2 episode “Until Your Feet Leave The Ground” premieres.

Remember when Mouch (Christian Stolte) was dating online? We don’t either, but he was four years ago. But his awkwardness paled in comparison to how the “girls’ weekend” for the ladies of Chicago Fire did not at all go as planned.

April 8, 2015: The Chicago PD season 2 episode “The Three G’s” premieres.

We’ll forever remember this episode as the one in which future Chicago Med star Brian Tee made his One Chicago debut as a member of the criminal enterprise. Revisit Brian’s guest spot here. We like him much better as one of the good guys!
