Chicago Fire season 7, episode 11 preview: You Choose
What should fans watch for in this week’s Chicago Fire? Get ready for tonight’s episode with our Chicago Fire season 7, episode 11 preview.
The theme of this week’s episode of Chicago Fire is choices, and there are quite a few that have to be made. The question is, will characters make the right decisions?
Wednesday’s episode is titled “You Choose” so it’s not a huge leap to guess what the plot is going to be getting at. But everyone is kind of all over the place after last week’s midseason premiere, so maybe this is a good time to stop and pick up the pieces.
The fans’ focus will naturally be on Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer), because he has several things to figure out. Not only does he need someplace new to live after his apartment was set on fire, but the woman he was smitten with left town, too.
Casey needs to find a new home, which is rife for comic relief. Anyone who’s watched an episode of House Hunters on HGTV knows how funny house hunting can be, and given what show this is, the writers are going to find some way to make it funny.

But there’s also going to be the emotional side that comes with having to start over, and move on with his life. In more ways than one, because Casey hasn’t really processed his wife’s departure.
He got pulled into the trailer park story and suddenly his life was centered around that investigation and his fling with Naomi Graham (Kate Villanova). So this is where he needs to take a breath, get some extra perspective, and really move forward in a way that’s right for him.

Elsewhere, Chicago Fire will show fans what’s next for Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) after she chose to break up with Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) last week.
Both Stella and Severide have to make decisions about how they’re going to approach their work relationship; you’d think they should be able to work together since they did it after they had that short fling in season 5, but of course if that happened there wouldn’t be any drama, right? So it’ll probably be hard for them to adjust this time.
Plus, it wouldn’t be a new Chicago Fire episode without some massive setpiece for Firehouse 51 to respond to. Play the video below to see this week’s big accident:
