One Chicago franchise continues in reruns on April 17
Chicago PD, Chicago Med and Chicago Fire will be benched for another week as One Chicago repeats are scheduled on NBC this Wednesday.
More bad news is on the way for One Chicago viewers, because more reruns of all three shows are coming this week.
Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med are all showing repeats on April 17, according to NBC‘s official primetime schedule. That will be the second consecutive week of reruns for the franchise, which wasn’t on last Wednesday either.
NBC did not give an official explanation for the week off, but the network doesn’t normally provide information as to why shows go into repeats.
That’s not likely to make fans feel any better, as they’ve been dealing with a lot of reruns recently, including nearly an entire month of them in March.

Wednesday’s lineup consists entirely of the 14th episodes from this current season, which originally aired back on Feb. 13.
Chicago Fire has the paramedic-centric episode “It Wasn’t About Hockey,” where Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) and Emily Foster (Annie Ilonzeh) have to help a hockey team when their bus crashes in the middle of nowhere.

Chicago PD will also focus on its female characters in “Ties That Bind,” where Kim Burgess and Hailey Upton (Marina Squerciati and Tracy Spiridakos) wind up captured during an undercover operation gone wrong, shortly after Burgess finds out who Upton has been dating.
Chicago Med will be leading off the night with “Can’t Unring That Bell,” where Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) gets in trouble for wanting to donate a kidney to an old acquaintance. Plus, Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) winds up treating the daughter of the woman he went on a date with, which kind of puts a damper on their developing relationship.
Fans who don’t want to watch these reruns can stream most episodes from the current season for free on Hulu. New episodes are expected to return next week, but we’ll keep you apprised of any other programming changes.
