What should fans look for in this week’s episode of Chicago Fire? Get ready for Badlands with our Chicago Fire season 8, episode 3 preview.
Tonight’s episode of Chicago Fire will test the limits of newest recruit Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende), as he attempts a risky rescue. The episode also marks the return of paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) to Firehouse 51, as she was gone in Fowlerton, Indiana for the previous two episodes.
Though Blake has just been added on to Truck 81, he is eager to prove himself to his superiors, Captain Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer), as well as Lieutenants Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Christopher Hermann (David Eigenberg). When they arrive on scene to find a young girl trapped in a carnival ride, it becomes a race against the clock to save her before the whole structure collapses.
Judging by the recently released promotional photos, Blake, Kelly, Matt, and Christopher aren’t the only ones on scene at the fair. Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo), Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso), and Battalion Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) are also on site for an “all hands on deck” approach. It looks like they’ll need all the help they can get, given that fairs are usually crowded places.
If you’re wondering where Ambulance 61 is, not to worry: Brett and Emily Foster (Annie Ilonzeh) will more than likely be on scene to offer triage or transport to Med; that is, if they can get their other case under control.
See, according to NBC’s press release, the episode will have Brett and Foster investigate a disturbance at a local juvenile detention facility. They must discover something that warrants immediate attention, because Chicago PD‘s Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) shows up at the firehouse.
Fans always love seeing characters from the other One Chicago series pop up on one another’s programs, so it’ll be a treat for them to see Burgess interact with some members of 51.
