Tonight’s episode of Chicago Med has two of the show’s finest doctors in danger when they’re kidnapped on their way to work!
Dr. Crockett Marcel (Dominic Rains) and Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) will have to use more than just their medical skills if they want to make it out of this week’s episode alive.
“Who Should Be the Judge” will also dole out its fair share of complex cases for the rest of the staff at Chicago’s Gaffney Medical Center. Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) will work alongside his fiancé April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta) to uncover their latest patient’s scheme.
And elsewhere, Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) will butt heads with Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt). While this time the issue is patient treatment plans, poor Will has still been dealing with the fallout of his involvement in the illegal safe injection site.

Last week, he turned in his colleague and one night stand Dr. Hannah Asher (recurring guest star Jessy Schram) for drug abuse. The two had slept together, and Dr. Asher really managed to play him like a fiddle. He may have put a stop to her manipulation, but at what cost?
This storyline has been recurring for Will for a little while now, but we haven’t seen an end in sight. If there is to be an end to it, will it impact him just as badly as it may hurt Dr. Asher?

Since he had a K-9 police dog sniff out the drugs in her car, what’s to stop her from dropping the bomb on his off the books clinic?
Between that ongoing story and the main plot it’s introducing, the latest episode of Chicago Med has its doctors fighting for their careers and their lives. It’s possible that someone could lose everything—or will the show be crazy enough to kill off either Natalie or Crockett?
That seems unlikely, since Natalie has a history of escaping from life-threatening storylines and Crockett just got here. It’d be kind of strange if Chicago Med went to the trouble of hiring Dominic Rains and upping him from recurring to series regular, only to bump him off before the end of his first season.
But that doesn’t mean the writers can’t make things as difficult as possible for him, Natalie and everyone else. We’ll see how bad the problems get when “Who Should Be The Judge” premieres tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC!
