Watch Chicago PD’s Charles Michael Davis make NCIS: New Orleans debut
NCIS: New Orleans officially introduced Chicago PD alum Charles Michael Davis this week; watch a clip from his debut NCIS: NOLA episode.
If you were watching NCIS: New Orleans on Sunday, you noticed a familiar face from Chicago PD. Charles Michael Davis, who recurred during Chicago PD season 6, made his first appearance as a NOLA series regular in the latest episode.
“The Man in the Red Suit” introduced Davis as the newest member of the NCIS: New Orleans team, Special Agent Quentin Carter.
Carter was recruited by team leader Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) to fill the available spot on his roster after the shooting death of Christopher Lasalle earlier this season (Lucas Black, who played Lasalle, left NCIS: NOLA to spend more time with his family).
Playing a sharp-dressed NCIS agent whose reputation precedes him was markedly different from Davis’s role on Chicago PD. He portrayed Blair Williams, Kim Burgess’s (Marina Squerciati) love interest, in a handful of episodes before the character was killed off.
He also has another One Chicago connection—he’s also a series regular on TV Land’s Younger, which also stars Chicago Med actress Molly Bernard.

But the two shows don’t film at the same time, leaving Davis able to balance both. Certainly for One Chicago viewers, seeing him investigate crimes instead of being the victim of one is a good change of pace. And since he’s a main cast member, he’ll get more character development than Blair did.
