Chicago Fire: What’s next for Sylvie Brett in Chicago Fire season 10?

As we continue to look ahead to Chicago Fire season 10, there is a lot of curiosity among fans as to what the new season has in store for our favorite firefighters and paramedics including 51’s veteran paramedic, Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer).

Season 9 was an interesting season for Brett, one which saw her bidding farewell to yet another partner with the departure of Mackie (Adriyan Rae) and welcoming another new paramedic to 51 with the arrival of Violet (Hanako Greensmith).

The season also saw her finally embracing the feelings she’s been developing for Casey (Jesse Spencer) after a whirlwind season which saw her push Casey away at the start of the season before coming to the realization of her true feelings after a flash in the pan fling and helping him get through a medical scare.

What will happen to Sylvie Brett in Chicago Fire season 10?

Needless to say, it was quite the season for Brett. Fortunately, as the season came to an end, things seem to be finally settling down for our long-time paramedic with Brett in a really great place as the season ended. As we look ahead, season 10 has the potential to be another big season for Brett both professionally and personally.

On the professional front, Brett’s role as Paramedic in Charge at 51 will likely see her responding to yet another wave of interesting calls this season. There’s no telling what predicaments Brett might find herself on this season when responding to calls, but we’re sure she’ll once again be the calm in the storm and pull off some incredible fieldwork again this season.

We’re also anticipating that we’ll get to see Brett take up a mentorship role this season in helping Violet get her bearings within 51 as its newest full-time member. Given Violet is still green, it’s going to be interesting to see how hands-on Brett might be in guiding her new partner and helping her to grow in the role while showing her the ropes.

Meanwhile, on the personal front, we’re anticipating this season will be quite eventful for Brett as she navigates her new relationship with Casey.

Given the two had finally confessed their feelings for one another as season 9 came to an end, it seems likely season 10 will explore their relationship further. That said, there are a lot of questions about what could be next for Bretty and Casey in season 10.

How will their new relationship affect their workplace dynamic? What obstacles might be thrown their way across the season? Could we see the pair taking further steps after exchanging I Love Yous in perhaps looking to move in together?

There are a lot of possible directions the writers can take Brett and Casey’s relationship in this season, but regardless of what they have planned it should be quite an exciting season for Brettsey fans!
