Chicago Fire season 10 episode 8 promo, synopsis and photos
By Cody Schultz
Last week on Chicago Fire, with Casey (Jesse Spencer) gone, the time finally came for a new lieutenant to make their way to 51 to temporarily fill in on truck as the search for a permanent replacement begins.
Enter Jason Pelham (Brett Dalton), who seemed to win over most of the house with the exception of Gallo (Alberto Rosende), who clashed with the house’s temporary lieutenant. It wasn’t too surprising to see Gallo struggling with the arrival of a new lieutenant given how close to Casey he was and although they seemed to mend fences at the end of the episode it seems the pair will be back at odds this week.
Elsewhere, Severide (Taylor Kinney) closed in on the dangerous arsonist he had been working to find and, while he wasn’t able to bring him in alive, he was able to finally bring an end to his string of deadly fires.
Wondering what’s next for the men and women of 51 this Wednesday night? Below we share the latest promotional materials for season 10 including the promo, synopsis, and photos for episode 8, “What Happened at Whiskey Point?”
Chicago Fire season 10 episode 8 promo
While it seems Gallo and Pelham had come to a mutual understanding last week, the promo for this week’s episode of Chicago Fire seems to suggest the pair will once again be going at it with tensions rising even higher.
In the promo, Pelham orders Gallo to wait by the truck while on a call; however, Gallo disobeys the order and takes matters into his own hands. Although it’s unclear how things play out from there, when we cut back to 51 the two get into a heated exchange which we’re certain is going to turn heads and leave Boden (Eamonn Walker) questioning whether Pelham is a good fit for the house.
Chicago Fire season 10 episode 8 synopsis
As expected, the synopsis for this week’s episode of Chicago Fire previews the Gallo and Pelham rift coming to a head as Boden continues to look into whether Pelham might be a good fit to take over as 51’s lieutenant on a more permanent basis.

Speaking of Gallo, it looks like Brett (Kara Killmer) and Ritter (Daniel Kyri) are about to give Violet (Hanako Greensmith) a friendly nudge in encouraging her to finally come clean about her feelings for Gallo.
Here’s how NBC officially describes Chicago Fire season 10, episode 8:
"Severide and Herrmann clash over office space. Boden looks at Pelham’s past as he considers making him permanent. Gallo’s resentment of Pelham comes to a head. Brett and Ritter force Violet to confront her true feelings for Gallo."
