Unfortunately, there will be no new episode of Chicago Fire airing on April 27. Instead, NBC will air an encore of season 10, episode 7, “Whom Shall I Fear?” In the episode, Gallo butted heads with 51’s new lieutenant temporarily filling in for Casey while Severide closed in on a dangerous and deadly arsonist.

Is Chicago Fire new on May 4, 2022?

On May 4, NBC will once again be airing a rerun of season 10 instead of a new episode. On May 4, NBC will show an encore of season 10, episode 8, “What Happened at Whiskey Point?” an episode that helped to explain the backstory of Pelham as Boden launched a quiet investigation while considering making him a permanent fixture at 51. Elsewhere in the episode, Gallo and Pelham’s feud came to a head, Brett and Ritter pushed Violet to confront her feelings, and Severide and Herrmann clashed over office space.
