What’s next for Kelly Severide in Chicago Fire season 11?

Kelly Severide has just got married, but it doesn’t look like he’ll enjoy his honeymoon. What’s next for him in Chicago Fire season 11?

Kelly Severide is finally a married man. We got to see him and Stella marry at the end of Chicago Fire season 10, and it was a happy event for the most part. However, there is a dark cloud hanging over their heads.

This dark cloud isn’t something between them. Instead, it’s a threat to Kelly’s life after he took steps to take down a drug ring without initially realizing it. He just knew something was wrong about that food truck fire—or at least the food truck owner acted.

The cliffhanger at the end of the Chicago Fire season 10 finale didn’t involve Kelly’s life on the line in the middle of a call this time. Instead, his honeymoon is about to be interrupted by the drug ring.

What will happen to Kelly Severide in Chicago Fire season 11?

The first thing to deal with is that truck pulling up outside the house Kelly and Stella are enjoying their wedding night activities. It’s supposed to be a happy night, but Kelly and Stella will likely need to fight for their lives.

We’re sure to see them both get out of trouble. It’s possible that Intelligence is already tracking the truck, or maybe Kelly and Stella will be able to get a call out to someone they know. Either way, we’re sure to see the two of them get out of dodge.

Then what’s next for Kelly? We’re not likely to see him become a dad just yet. Allow the two to enjoy being newlyweds before we add in children. There’s no need to rush that. And considering the childhood both had, will they even want kids? There’s nothing wrong with them being childfree by choice.

We’ll hopefully get to see Kelly continue his work as lieutenant of Squad 3 while also stepping in to do some arson investigation now and then. Those two roles have become the ones that Kelly is best known for. I’d love to see more of Kelly and Stella working as a team when it comes to leading their two sides of Firehouse 51.
