Which Chicago PD actor has appeared in the most episodes?
We've spent most of Chicago PD's tenth season lamenting the fact that Hailey Upton will be leaving. She's a veteran member of the IU, and her absence will absolutely be felt when the show returns for season 12. What's interesting, however, is there the actress who plays her, Tracy Spiridakos, ranks in terms of all-time PD appearances.
Spiridakos has appeared in 137 episodes to date, which will be closer to 140 by the time she hands in her badge. That's a lot by most metrics, but it only puts the actress in fifth place when it comes to the actors with the most PD credits to their name.
Tracy Spiridakos ranks fifth among most PD appearances
Spiridakos is behind her real-life boyfriend, Jesse Lee Soffer, who clocked 189 appearances. She's also behind Amy Morton and LaRoyce Hawkins, who have 217 episodes under their respective belts.
The 10-4 rankings for most PD episodes look something like this:
10. Sophia Bush (84 episodes)
9. Elias Koteas (106 episodes)
8. Jon Seda (115 episodes)
7. Tracy Spiridakos (137 episodes)
6. Jesse Lee Soffer (189 episodes)
5. LaRoyce Hawkins (217 episodes)
4. Amy Morton (217 episodes)
Similar to Chicago Med, the top spot for Chicago PD is shared between three different actors. This effectively means these actors have been present for every single episode of the show, including crossovers and cameos on other One Chicago shows.
3 actors are tied for most appearances
The actors in question are Jason Beghe, Marina Squerciati and Patrick John Flueger. Each of them have been in 218 episodes, which means Hawkins and Morton just missed the cut in terms of tying them (it also means they've only missed one episode a piece!)
What makes the longevity of these three actors so impressive is their willingness to forge ahead and tell new stories. Squerciati and Ruzek's characters are getting married in the near future, which will open up entirely new possibilities and struggles for their relationship, while Beghe is excited to test the emotional boundaries of his character, Hank Voight.

Beghe discussed the future during a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, and he made it crystal clear that he isn't going to be leaving the show anytime soon:
" I’m not done, I have more to do, and I’m anxious to do it. I love my job."
Let's see how long the leading trio can keep their episode streak intact!
