Chicago PD actress Li Jun Li starred in The Exorcist season 2, which has finally been made available on DVD this week after a delay.

After recurring on Chicago PD during the fourth season, Li Jun Li scored a role on FOX‘s The Exorcist, and now One Chicago fans can finally catch her performance on DVD.

The Exorcist: The Complete Second Season was released through FOX Home Entertainment, the home-video arm of FOX, on Tuesday. You can order it for $29.95 through Amazon.

Li Jun Li joined the horror series for its second (and ultimately final) season as Rose Cooper, a social worker monitoring the household of Andy Kim (John Cho). She also had a past with Andy, which only put her at risk when a demon attacked him and his family.

Ben Daniels, Alfonso Herrera and Kurt Egyiawan led the cast, which also added Deadpool 2‘s Brianna Hildebrand and The Following‘s Zuleikha Robinson in the second season.

More from One Chicago Center

During Chicago PD season 4, Li Jun Li recurred as Officer Julie Tay, the new patrol partner for Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) after the departure of Sean Roman (Brian Geraghty).

There was a multi-episode plot about Tay being harrassed by a superior officer, who had done all he could to make her career difficult.

Burgess tried to support her new partner in fighting back against the commander, but ultimately failed as Tay was sent back to her old role.

She was briefly replaced by Mike Sorensen (guest star Kevin Kane), before Sorensen quit in “A Shot Heard Round The World” and Burgess’s promotion to Intelligence rendered the issue moot.

After leaving Chicago PD, Li Jun Li filmed multiple-episode appearances on ABC‘s Quantico and NBC‘s Blindspot, but her work on The Exorcist season 2 was her biggest role following her exit from One Chicago. Here’s a clip that features her, along with Brianna Hildebrand and Ben Daniels:

Even if you’re not a horror fan or have never seen the original movie, The Exorcist is a solid series to check out. It’s very character-driven and the scares are not over the top nor are they particularly gory (being that the show aired on network TV).

Li Jun Li has a pretty meaty role in the second season, as her character’s past with Andy is revealed and she winds up working to try and protect his foster children from the evil that’s after them.

It’s taken a while for FOX to get the series out onto DVD—aside from releasing this season, this week is also the first time they’ve done a physical release of the first season—so definitely look into snapping this one up if you’re looking for a Chicago PD-related project to binge-watch over the summer.

Anyone who loved Li Jun Li as Julie Tay will also warm up to Rose Cooper, and she has an even bigger role in The Exorcist. Just consider binge-watching it with the lights on.
