Hulu’s Love Victor trailer previews Chicago PD alum Sophia Bush’s next project.

Sophia Bush fans can get another look at her upcoming show as Hulu dropped the Love Victor trailer this week.

With roughly three weeks until the series premieres, Hulu has released a full-length trailer for the TV series that follows 2018’s critically acclaimed film Love, Simon.

Though Simon (Nick Robinson) appears in the show and also serves as its narrator, the series is focused on a new character named Victor (Michael Cimino) as he goes on his own teenage journey of self-discovery.

More from Sophia Bush

Sophia Bush has a recurring role in the first season, making the project the first time she’s had a multi-episode arc on TV since she left Chicago PD after four seasons.

One of Victor’s friends is a fellow student named Mia (Rachel Naomi Hilson), and Mia’s father is dating Bush’s character, Veronica. Little is known about Veronica other than that she runs a female-oriented non-profit organization.

Yet she presumably has to be significant to the plot in some way, as Bush is appearing in multiple episodes. Hulu hasn’t stated just how many, but anyone who still misses her as Erin Lindsay in the One Chicago universe will want to check this series out just to watch Sophia getting to develop her new character over time.

Plus, Veronica sounds like the kind of strong woman that Bush is excellent at portraying, and it’s always interesting to see a Chicago alum in a series that’s a comedy or, in this case, has a comedic element to it. With the NBC franchise being so serious, there’s not a ton of humor. But with this new series, Sophia Bush should get to use the full range of her talents.

All ten episodes of Love Victor will be available on June 19. Watch the Love Victor trailer below and then let us know if you’ll be tuning in by leaving a comment at the bottom of this article.
